Life Skills Development
It takes more than just job skills and education to make a successful and permanent move beyond homelessness.
Skills like time management, problem solving, goal setting, teamwork, effective communications, organization, and conflict resolution are also necessary to achieve success in the job market.
Smart shopping, meal planning and cooking, budgeting, bill paying, and balancing a checkbook are also vital to succeed independently.
The Life Skills Development Program teaches these skills to the men and women participating in all of the transitional programs.
If you would like to teach a valuable life skill to some of our program participants, please contact Marianna Bucina at (617) 942-8671 or email email@example.com.
