Mass Bay Credit Union and the Boston Public Health Commission have teamed up with Friends of Boston’s Homeless to make our Housing Savings Account program a reality.

Friends of Boston’s Homeless Housing Savings Account program helps people experiencing homelessness overcome the foundational life-rebuilding challenges of saving money and securing housing. Boston Public Health Commission‘s Serving Ourselves program provides paid vocational training and work experience to participants. Our partners at Mass Bay Credit Union help participants open savings accounts and provide access to financial tools and educational resources to help people achieve their financial goals. And when participants secure housing, all three partners come together to match the amount saved, doubling their savings account and helping them achieve financial and housing independence!
