Yetman Men’s Supportive Housing Program

Yetman House located in the community of Jamaica Plain, provides safe, dignified supportive housing for formerly homeless working men. Yetman House helps men gain the additional skills necessary to achieve housing independence and reunite with children and families. Residents work and pay rent. While living at Yetman House, men also learn life skills such as, meal planning, shopping, budgeting and bill paying, resume writing, interviewing, time management, goal setting, problem solving and conflict resolution.

Yetman House graduates have gone on to become business owners, obtain Bachelors and Masters degrees, and own homes of their own.

Yetman House is one of the most successful recovery homes in the state. While the highest success rate for a short-term recovery home in Massachusetts is 65%, Yetman House has consistently had a success rate of more than 70%. More than 85% never return to homelessness and go on to live stable, independent lives.

Meet Graham.

After struggling with heroin addiction and homelessness for many years, Graham came to Yetman House and it changed his life. Today he’s clean and sober, holds two Masters degrees, works as an addictions counselor, and pursues his passion as a musician.
